Pray For The Bride Of Christ

Dear Father,

Thank-you for Your promises of health and healing. We came before You and ask that You cause the Bride of Christ to walk in health, strength and vitality.

May the Bride of Christ be diligent to present themselves approved to You, workers who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Fill them with a desire to read and study Your Word. Don’t allow the Bride of Christ to be hears of Your Word only.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, enable the Bride of Christ to present their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, which is their reasonable service.

May the Bride of Christ not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, that they may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Let a fresh move of the Holy Spirit fill all Your churches and saturate all Your believers. Rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit within each one and may they burn bright for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

Prayer For Yourself and Others Concerning Sanctification

Prayer For Yourself and Others Concerning Sanctification

Dear Father,
Thank-you that You have freed us from the bondage of sin through Jesus Christ. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help us to follow Jesus’ example in sanctification. Cause us to desire to be holy and set apart from sin. May we be reserved for Your use – may we be set apart to do Your will. Cause us to gird up the loins of our minds, be sober, and rest our hope fully upon the grace of Jesus Christ. Let us be as obedient children, not conforming ourselves to our former lusts. May we be holy in all our conduct. Cause us to yield to the Holy Spirit and may there be tangible evidences of growth in our lives. Thank-you that You chose us to be Your temple. May we take great care of and continually sanctify our temples.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

1 Peter 1:13-16 NKJV
“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Corinthians 6:19 NKJV
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”

1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 NKJV
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.”
you meat, and you shall eat.”

Praying For Yourself As You Grow Older

Praying For Yourself As You Grow Older

Dear Father,
I come before You on my behalf. I ask that you give me rest and encouragement. May You ease, relieve and refresh my soul, spirit and body. By the power of the Holy Spirit, may I cast all my cares, burdens and anxieties upon You. Put a new song in my heart and on my lips. By the power of the Holy Spirit, cause me to remember and hold on to the promise that You will not permit the righteous to be moved – that You will sustain me in every area and season of my life. I thank-you that the righteous shall flourish and shall still bear fruit in old age. I shall be fresh and flourishing. You are my Rock and I will declare Your glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

.

Psalm 92:12-15 NKJV
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the Lord is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”

Praying God’s Word – God Fights Our Battles

Dear Father,
Thank-you for all that You do for us. You truly are the Lord Our Strength. When the enemy comes in like a flood against us, You, O Lord, lift up a standard against him. You will wage war against our enemy and You subdued those who rise up against us. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help us stand firm in the face of the enemy and arm us with strength for the battle. May we always remember that the battles that we go through do not belong to us. They belong to You, O Lord.
Cause us to keep our eyes on You and not on our enemy and may we never try to fight the battle for You. Fill us full of vigor, strength, force and power for Your glory. Thank-you that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Isaiah 59:19 NKJV
“So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”

Psalm 18:39 NKJV
“For You have armed me with strength for the battle;
You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.”

1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV
“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands”

Zechariah 4:6b NKJV
“ ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.”

Philippians 4:13 NKJV
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Holiness

Holiness

Holiness is not merely an attribute of God- it is at the core of all that He is and all that He does. How you view the holiness of God will effect every aspect of your life, including how you view your personal holiness.

How do you view God’s holiness?
.
.

Dear Father,
We know that You are holy and that holiness is at the core of all that You are and all that You do. By the power of the Holy Spirit, may we view holiness and You do. Fill us with a desire for greater personal holiness. Help us to gird up the loins of our minds, be sober, and rest our hope fully upon the grace that is given to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ. May we be as obedient children, not conforming ourselves to the former lusts, as in our ignorance. Cause us to be holy in all our conduct. Just as You are holy, may we be holy also.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Praying Isaiah 40:31

Standard

Dear Father,

You are an everlasting God. You are the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of the ends of the earth. By Your power You made the entire universe. I thank-you that You never sleep. Thank-you that You never grow faint or weary. Your understanding truly is unsearchable. Your ways are so much higher than mine. You give power to the weak, and to those who have no might You increases strength. To those who wait on You, O Lord, You renew their strength. Father, I put my hope in You and You alone. Strengthen and renew me by Your power. Let me mount up with wings like an eagle. Let me run and not be weary. Let me walk and not faint.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praying Psalm 126

Psalm 125 NKJV

“Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts.
As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!”
