Pray For The Persecuted Church and Believers

Dear Father,
We bring before the persecuted church and believers. We ask they will know the hope that You give and may they know how much You love them. Help them to remain strong in faith and trust despite physical and psychological abuse. Holy Spirit strengthen the persecuted believers. May they fearlessly tell others about Jesus.

Surround the persecuted and their families and loved ones with Your protection. Help the spouses of persecuted believers be able to cope with caring and providing for their family alone. May the families of persecuted believers know and experience the love of God.

We ask that You provide the persecuted believers with jobs and safe places to live. Provide them with everything they need, including Bibles, friends and any resources they may need. May they not feel isolation or loneliness. For the believers who have been rejected by family and friends we ask they you knit them together with others that can be their new family.

For those who are imprisoned for their faith in Jesus Christ, we ask that they find favor with their captors. Supernaturally keep them from pain. Send someone to them that can provide medical care, food and encouragement to them. Even in captivity, may they be a light for You and may they reap a harvest of souls. We ask that You bless every believer in captivity with the salvation of their household. May their entire family come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. For their family, we ask that You provide for them.

We ask that You open the eyes and soften the hearts of the individuals who bring abuse upon Christians. And may the persecuted believers be able to forgive those who persecute them, turn away from them, or who fail to support them.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

About watchingservant

"Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them." Luke 12:37 NKJV When Jesus returns I desire to be found faithful. More than anything in the world I long to hear the voice of the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
