Blessings From God

Blessings from God take many forms. Some are spiritual, some are physical, and others are material.

Isaiah 58:11 NKJV
“The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places; You shall rise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”

1. The Lord Will Be Your Guide.
The Lord will show you the way. He will lead and direct your every step. When you follow God on the path that He has for you, you will be able to see the obstacles that the enemy tries to put in your way.

2. The Lord Will Satisfy Your Soul In A Drought.
A physical drought is a long period of dry weather; continued lack of rain; lack of moisture or dryness. In the spiritual realm a drought is a long period of time without a move of the Holy Spirit or a continued lack of the move of the Holy Spirit. It is during these times that God will satisfy your soul.
Satisfy means to give enough to a person; meet fully or fulfill (desires, hopes, demands, etc.); put an end to (needs, wants, etc.); make right; set free; make contented; please; make up for the wrong; give satisfaction.

3. The Lord Will Give You Strength.
Strength is the quality of being strong; power; force; power to resist force; something that makes strong. God is our strength. He gives us the power to resist evil and to stand strong, no matter what comes our way, for His glory.

4. The Lord Will Cause You To Flourish.
Flourish is to grow or develop with vigor; do well; thrive; be in the best time of life or activity. God will cause us not to just survive, but He will cause us to thrive. We will grow and develop with vigor (active strength or force filled with power).

5. The Lord Will Fill You To Overflowing With An Endless Supply Of Living Water.
Overflow means to flow over the bounds; have the contents flowing over; be very abundant; cover or flood; flow over the top; extend out beyond. The living water that we have been given will not only be enough for us, it will be enough for everyone that we come in contact with. We will be filled to overflowing with a never ending supply of the Living Water.

6. The Lord Will Use You In The Restoration Of Lives.
We serve a God of restoration. One of the greatest blessings that we can be given is to be used by God in the area of restoration of lives (bodies, souls, and spirits).
Jesus came to this earth, gave His life up on the cross and rose from the dead so that we can be restored. Through Jesus’ sacrifice our relationship with God can be put back together. We no longer have to be separated from God by sin. The intimacy that God had with man in the garden was restored. God desires to use us to tell others that they no longer have to be separated from God because of their sins. They can receive the gift of salvation that Jesus paid for and they too can be restored into right relationship with God and enjoy intimacy with Him. There is no greater joy than reconciling someone to God. To know that God allowed you to have a part in restoring someone to everlasting life is truly one of the greatest blessing we will ever receive.

About watchingservant

"Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them." Luke 12:37 NKJV When Jesus returns I desire to be found faithful. More than anything in the world I long to hear the voice of the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
