God Watches Over Us

God is with us always. He is by your side no matter what you are going through. He is like a shepherd watching over his flock. A good shepherd constantly keeps his eyes on his sheep and their surroundings. God is omniscient. He is all knowing. He understands everything, and has complete and infinite knowledge.

.

Isaiah 40:28 NKJV
“…Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable”

Romans 11:33 NKJV
“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!”

.

.

God is omnipresent. He is everywhere at the same time. There is nothing hidden from His eyes as He watches over you. With God watching over us, what do we have to worry about?

.

.

Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field; which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’ ”

God knows the days of everyone. He knows our circumstances and provides for our every need, He knows how long we will live, and He knows about our future.

.

.

Psalm 37:18-20 NKJV
“The Lord knows the days of the upright,
And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish;
And the enemies of the Lord,
Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.”

Dear Father,
I thank-you that You are by my side. No matter what I am going through. You constantly keep Your eye on me and my surroundings. There is nothing hidden from Your eyes. You never faint or grow weary. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to remember that You know my circumstances and provides for my every need.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
