“Come out from among them….And I will receive you.”

“Come out from among them….And I will receive you.”

It is very easy to say , “What would Jesus do?’ with our mouths, however living it out is a totally different thing. If Jesus was still here in the flesh what would He dress up like today? What costume would He find acceptable to dress up in today, in the name of fun, on this day that is rooted in pagan/ demonic worship?

During the time that Jesus walked the earth He ministered to the lost wherever they were at, but He never took part in their sin/evil. I have a very good idea that Jesus, if He was here in the flesh today would say the same words that God has already spoken to us, “BE YE SEPARATE.”

God has called His people to be holy, which means to be set apart. How can a person say that they are set apart for God when they look like the world, act like the world and do the same things as the world?

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 NKJV

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore, “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty”

God doesn’t say that we should have less to do with darkness/evil than the world – He says have nothing to do with evil.

Praying Psalm 126

Praying Psalm 126

Psalm 125 NKJV

“Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts.
As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!”
