Praying Psalm 1:1-6

Praying Psalm 1:1-6

Your Word tells us that blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly. Help me by the power of the Holy Spirit not to  stand in the path of sinners or make my seat  with the scornful . Let my delight be in Your Word and in doing Your will. Cause me to keep Your Word in my heart and meditate on it at all times. Thank-you Lord, that as I stay in Your Word I will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. I will bring forth fruit in due season. No matter what happens around me I will not shrivel or dry up.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

Psalm 1:1-6  NKJV

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

About watchingservant

"Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them." Luke 12:37 NKJV When Jesus returns I desire to be found faithful. More than anything in the world I long to hear the voice of the Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
